Thinking of a family villa holiday? Maybe you are looking to arrange a luxury villa for a group of friends or for a special celebration like a wedding or a 40th birthday party. If this is the case then I have 3 words for you....Barbados, Barbados, Barbados. Am I biased? Without doubt, but having visited this beautiful Caribbean island more times than I can actually remember, I would like to put my case forward with 5 reasons why you should always rent villas in Barbados.
There are many superb tropical islands around the world but few that offer such a wide selection of villa rentals. Catering to the luxury 8 bedroom beach villas to the economical 1 bedroom beach apartments, Barbados has them all. Catering for all tastes and budgets.
2. Excellent Staff
All the mid to luxury villas in Barbados have some form of staffing from a housekeeper service, to a full on butler, chef, maid and laundress service. From my own personal experience and from that of people that have booked villas with Rent A Barbados Villa the first comments are always about how wonderful the staff were. They are very well trained and so have that happy knack of being there when you need them and then somehow vanishing when you don't. My advice, if you can get one with a cook, go for it. You don't have to eat in all the time but they are very talented cooks.
3. Beaches Galore
There are no private beaches in Barbados so theoretically you can walk round them all, although getting to some would be quite tricky. Like many Caribbean islands, Barbados offers the beautiful white sandy beaches, with the crystal clear waters but the difference in Barbados is the variety. From the rolling waves on the East Coast to the 'mill pond' like seas of the Barbados West Coast there is something for everyone. Some beaches are action packed with water sports, sun loungers and beach bars whilst at others there will just be you, the sand and the sea.
4. Fine Dining Extravaganza
The choice of fining dining restaurants is nearly as good as any major city and setting is 100 times better. There are so many fantastic places to eat in Barbados, you could easily eat out at a different fantastic place each night for a two week holiday without a problem at all. That is apart from your bank balance as they are not on the cheap side. There are budget places to eat as well though.
5. The People
The Bajan's make it worthwhile. They are very friendly and are always willing to help foreigners and give an opinion too!
If you like the sun, the sea, great food and people as well as a wide range of villas to choose from then Barbados is the place for you.
